You might know 25-year-old as a key figure in the Belgian jazz scene, a ridiculously talented pianist and composer and a founding member of great outfits such as schntzl, Bombataz and warm bad (to name a few).
Hendrik will be debuting on Unday Records in November with a brand-new solo endeavour. Incited by reflecting on his childhood memories, and sung in Dutch, or rather in his own colloquial version of Dutch, ‘Het Wiel’ became a hyper personal and emotional collection of stories. We were taken aback by this poetic yet exceptionally direct music, so we decided to share it with you.
