With ‘Het langste jaar’, Het Zesde Metaal was ready for its sixth album earlier in 2024. After the news of the incurable disease of guitarist and keyboardist Tom Pintens and the eventual loss of frontman Wannes Cappelle’s first lieutenant, the group headed to venues and festivals with a new line-up. Wannes, Filip Wauters and Tim Van Oosten were joined by Kasper Cornelus and Sander Verstraete. With sold-out shows in both Belgium and the Netherlands, Het Zesde Metaal played for the equivalent of a sold-out Sportpaleis last summer. By now, you already know what they sound like live.
