Edmund November shares new music in anticipation of debut album

Posted on 01 Sep 2023

We’re glad to introduce you to new music from Edmund November’s upcoming self-titled debut album. With Canal, the second single, the band sets a darker tone.

The mysterious melody, delivered in an unembellished and demure fashion, and the ambiguous lyrics create an uncanny ambiance. The song showcases Lauret’s guitar playing and the group's distinctive sound.
Edmund Lauret, known for his contributions as a guitarist in notable acts like Nordmann, The Milk Factory, and Kosmo Sound, now ventures into a solo project that explores new horizons. He steps into the role of lead vocalist for the first time, singing pop songs inspired by the music that shaped his teenage years in Newcastle. Edmund traveled to the south of England to record his surprising debut, enlisting the talents of his friends Stijn Engels, Trui Amerlinck (Tsar B, Mayorga), and Gert Malfliet (Tristan), who will also feature in the live band.

Edmund November, the album, is due September 29.
