Posted on 05 Mar 2024

In a dynamic celebration marking the first anniversary of her acclaimed album, Vision Glitch, Echo Beatty shares a live video performance of stand-out track Candor Candor. True to her distinctive style, Echo Beatty presents a pure rendition of this robust track, offering an up-close encounter with the unbridled energy of three musicians conjuring a tight sonic whirlwind.

Annelies Van Dinter exposes an untamed synergy with musicians Yannick Dupont (Yokaï, Adam Green) on bass and Théo Lanau on drums (Soror, Amour Tempete). Their unfiltered connection formed during their first performances in London and Paris, as part of a European tour Echo Beatty did last November. The live energy emanates echoes reminiscent of PJ Harvey and Sonic Youth, captured in the intimate setting of De Adelberg, a small Belgian concert venue, as part of the Bar Dada series - an exquisite collection of concerts for music enthusiasts.

The young cinematographer Tuur Oosterlinck, honored with the Bronze Tadpole prize at Camerimage, the Polish international cinematography festival, directed and edited the performance. The live recording, expertly mixed by the gifted musician Thomas Jillings (Ottla), who also featured on "Vision Glitch," is now available here.

Witness Echo Beatty's unfiltered performance as she breathes new life into her one-year-old record Vision Glitch, encapsulating the essence of her pervasive music.
