The Bony King of Nowhere is the artistic alias of Belgian artist Bram Vanparys. He made a mark in 2018 with the release of his critically acclaimed album Silent Days. The record received consistent 4- and 5-star press reviews and was hailed as his best album to date. Silent Days revealed the full potential of the singer-songwriter and his commitment to never repeat himself and keep surpassing his own creative abilities.
The first single Are You Still Alive highlights certain patterns in society, most notably the impact of social media on interpersonal relationships and happiness. The question is much more than just the title of the song. It questions our behaviour in daily society, in multiple ways. Inspired by the observations of many sociologists, ours is the loneliest society ever.
