Bianca Steck releases 'Going Astray', the final single from her upcoming debut album

Going Astray and not being present while wandering aimlessly is a recurring feeling in a society where there is a lot going on and so rapidly. It is hard to keep up with everything unfolding around us while at the same time taking care of our minds. The song refers to a sort of alienation with the world despite us being so ‘connected’; a distance, a certain fogginess that drifts us to a disconnected state which prevents us from having an inner clarity.

Bianca Steck is a Barcelona born young musician, singer, songwriter and architect of British and
German origin, currently based in Brussels. Her formal musical upbringing was mainly classical,
completing the studies of piano and clarinet at the conservatory. At the age of fifteen she began
writing her own tunes while exploring different harmonies and sounds which suited her inner
attitude towards music with an intimate tone merging naturally into her voice. Lyrics are meaningful
and play an important role in her work since they tell stories and broadly speaking relate her songs
to a folk and pop music tradition. Her debut album will come to light very soon, produced together
with Catalan pianist and composer Nil Ciuró.
