Happy to announce that none other than Hendrik Lasure will be releasing his first solo album on Unday later this year.
You might know 25-year-old Hendrik as a key figure in the Belgian jazz scene, a ridiculously talented pianist and composer and a founding member of great outfits such as schntzl, Bombataz and warm bad (to name a few).
He will be debuting on Unday Records in November with a brand-new solo endeavour. Incited by reflecting on his childhood memories, and sung in Dutch, or rather in his own colloquial version of Dutch, ‘Het Wiel’ became a hyper personal and emotional collection of stories. We were taken aback by this poetic yet exceptionally direct music, so we decided to share it with you. A first taste is coming soon, stay around.
