'Mingrelian Song' is a synth-heavy & trance-infused rave rollercoaster by sound artist and producer Dijf Sanders. Pushed forward by the drums of talented Belgian drummer Simon Segers (Sylvie Kreusch, De Beren Gieren), the track is inspired by a traditional Georgian love song dubbed 'Chela'.
The single is taken from Dijf Sanders' upcoming album SUPRA. Filled with mesmerizing chants, field recordings, and contemporary interpretations of ancient folk songs earthed in Georgia, SUPRA is an emotive electronic trip through a dense sonic universe - its fibres strung together by the melancholia inherent to the Georgian music tradition.
