‘Time’ is the new single taken from Trixie Whitley’s third record ‘Lacuna’. It comes with a thrilling live video, recorded at the second of Trixie’s sold out AB Brussels shows in May.
The song deals with time, the lack thereof, and its implications on human interaction. Or as Trixie puts it ‘Time can’t be our biggest commodity’.
The live rendition of ‘Time’ illustrates what Lacuna’s duo live setup is all about. Trixie and her drummer/multi instrumentalist Chris Vatalaro, give the song a new treatment, which is potent and overpowering yet at the same time minimal and delicate.
Trixie will be playing a select number of festivals in July and August. She’s returning to Europe this fall for the second leg of the ‘Lacuna’ club tour.
