Nordmann reveals Unday debut 'Cascade(s)'

Nordmann reveals ‘Cascade(s)’, the first track off of their upcoming third album.

Nordmann’s four members have been busy lately. Besides exploring their respective solo and side projects (MDCIII, The Milk Factory, Hypochristmutreefuzz, Kosmo Sound…), they have been silently working on the follow up to their acclaimed sophomore album ‘The Boiling Ground’ from 2017. Together with producer Jasper Maekelberg (Balthazar, Warhaus, Faces on TV), they recorded ten brand new tracks. The band promises a shift in their distinctive sound, trading in rock influences in favour of synths, electronic textures and beats. The first track they unveil today, Cascade(s), is exemplary for this new direction.

'Cascade(s)' starts off meandering until the propulsive beat builds tension towards a turbulent climax. Nordmann sounds more meticulous than ever, yet the band does not steer clear of the riptide.

Their third album ‘In Velvet’ is expected this fall.
